BLOG 6: English language challenges

Hi everyone!!!!

Last blog, last level of English (I hope we all pass) <3 

I really liked blogging, I liked sharing thoughts, some experiences that I have lived or that I would like to live, I think these bring us closer in some way, especially now that we cannot share in person. And it also helps me reflect on what I really want for myself in the future.

I also consider that it is an instance to put into practice what was learned during the school stage, (as a reminder) and at university. 

I will not lie! English has always been difficult for me, I get very nervous and anxious, especially before evaluations, to the level of not sleeping well. I feel that for me it is unpredictable, that I cannot control, and I would like it to flow more in me, but that forces me to try harder. Without a doubt I think that it is a matter of practice and mastery of the language that should and can be worked on, as well as my nerves in a field that I do not handle much. 

Contrary to the above, I really like music in English, paradoxes of life! I learn the songs by heart, I enjoy them... Every day I listen to different artists and I feel that translating the lyrics and later identifying their meaning has helped me a lot and in a certain way has trained my hearing a bit.

BLOG 5: Postgraduate Stadies

Hello everyone! 

Since I entered the career I have been looking for an area to specialize, because it has always been an option to continue studying, I consider that it is a door that leads to any path in the future that is much more stable and secure. 

 I am very interested in public management and all that it means... 

Although in this last time I have discovered that there is an area that I am very passionate about and in which I have been thinking of specializing. It is anthropology !!! 

Wow! I have had the opportunity to read several anthropology texts this semester in the human behavior course and I feel that need to deepen certain topics. 

Being a specialization, I think it would be a good idea to study abroad and nourish myself with other cultural and academic experiences. I would study a part-time year, maybe two, and complement with work in the area of ​​public administration in the same country, thus enriching and complementing the two areas. 

I have always thought of Spain or some European country because their administrative systems are much more advanced than ours, in terms of basic guarantees such as health, education and I believe that I could learn a lot. 

I hope that I can fulfill this great dream! <3

I really like photos, and memories with people that I love. And this is one of them… 

 

This selfie was captured by my brother Francisco, on February 7, 2019, on our last holidays. 

In 2020 for work reasons we could not travel, but we planned to go in March ...but the pandemic ruined our plans... 

 

I like this photo because,  with the pandemic we spent months without seeing each other, we missed each other a lot and it made me think how important it is to share with family and enjoy moments while we are alive.

 

My family is one of those who got together every weekend, so it was very difficult to stop seeing each other. 

 

Today I am grateful that I can see my family more often, see them fine and healthy... 

I hope that people who lost a family member have consolation.

POST 4: My future job

 

Hello everyone!!

 

My dream would be to work in the congress, from a very young age it caught my attention.

But before I get there, I would like to do something for my commune. 

 

I have always considered working in a commune in the metropolitan region, I hope it will be  commune, because I consider that there is much to do at the sector level, I also consider that the current mayor does not do much for the community, and particularly in the sector where I live. to the limit with another commune, I feel that he has abandoned us. 

 

In the current pandemic, my desire to help my community grew, because the mayor did not provide basic aid for citizens or the necessary attention to the population at high risk, also there is little dissemination of information regarding benefits and I consider that it is essential to keep the public informed. 

 

I have also considered being mayor of my commune jajajajajaj because there are many areas that I would like to improve and strengthen others, such as education, health care for the elderly, etc.

Post 3: The best's movie's

Hi everyone!!

 

I'm a movie fan, I really love movies, I've seen all sorts of genres, and I can say that I like the science / fiction and fantasy ones more like "Harry Potter" and the other one is "The Lord of the Rings".

It´s are crazy !! The use of artificial fantastic language such as Pársel or Sindarin (gray elphetic), even if we only analyze the music of both films we can see the dedication that is in both sagas.

I think that with the films that I cried the most are those that are based on real life and those that are linked to concentration camps such as "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas", "La vita è bella," The Pianist".

 

The most movie that has marked me is "Bicentennial Man", I remember seeing it as a child with my dad and then with my niece. It really is a very nice story with a happy ending that I highly recommend, without a doubt it is one of those movies that you have to see in your life.

POST 2: CONCERT I´VE HAD

Hi friend´s!!!

On November 25, 2019, at the Caupolican theater in Santiago, with my brother we went to the concert of the band “Keane”.

 

It is an English alternative rock band, which started in 1995. The name of the band is composed of "The Lotus Eaters" and "Cherry Keane" and the instrument that characterizes them is the keyboard.

 

The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm and also of uncertainty because we lived the social crisis. 

The band went to visit "plaza italia" and also sent a message of support to the Chileans.

 

Wow! I listen to the band since I was 7 years old because my brother listened their songs when I was a child, so being there, so close, it was very exciting… it was living a dream that will always remember

 

I remember that we arrived 3 hours earlier because we had to queue, and when we were on the court, a girl's arrived and the people behind got upset because she hadn't queued to be there and a fight out.

BLOG 1: Country I want to visit

Today I will share with you my most desired tourist destination.

 

It's about Venice, Italy.

This city is located in the northeast of Italy, and was built on water thousands of years ago. Since then, it has suffered constant flooding and damage and for this reason it has had to be repaired several times, it is even in constant danger of collapse.

The first thing that I would like to do is know their diverse architectures, artistic heritage and culture. For me, and the world, it is one of the most beautiful cities, which is impossible not to visit. I want to travel one day.

Although it is a beautiful place, I would not like to live there, because of the risks of flooding, and also because at the moment I only see it as a tourist destination, perhaps when I visit it I will change my mind. But today I would rather live in another nearby city.
